OK, I've got it narrowed down...
... to an IBM Thinkpad on the one hand, and a Dell Inspiron on the other.
Anyone have anything bad to report? Or anything good?
ALSO... has anyone ever bought used auto parts online? Someone demolished my side mirror and a new replacement here in Iceland costs about ISK 20.000 [USD 270/GBP 150] which is almost as much as the car is worth [well, maybe not quite, but you get the picture]. And I can't seem to find a used one at any junkyard around here. Whereas there are loads of them online, in the US. Problem is, they seem a little dodgy. Or maybe it's just me. Don't know.

Weather: too damn cold, windy and unpleasant to warrant reporting [much]. Around 2°C but more with windchill; the sun came up at 06.11 and went down at 20.49.
